Research shows that learner drivers who are provided with a structured approach to their training are safer, more competent drivers and are involved in fewer accidents.
It is easier to learn in an automatic vehicle, because there are no clutches or gears to worry about. You may have easier access to an automatic vehicle to practise in. However, if you obtain an automatic vehicle licence, you will not be licensed to drive a manual vehicle. We would be happy to discuss your options further. Click here to contact us.
It is important to get as much practice as possible in all types of weather and road conditions - at least 100 hours (preferably more) before you get your P Licence. Take every opportunity to drive. Even the shortest trips to the shops or school all add up.
This depends on the individual. Everyone has different learning abilities. Your experience and confidence level can determine the number of lessons you may need. You also need to take into account the hours of supervised driving necessary to meet your Log Book requirements.
Our Driver Trainers adapt every lesson to the individual learner driver. When both you and your Driver Trainer feel you are ready for your driving test, we can conduct an informal test to make sure.
We use modern vehicles fitted with dual controls for safety. All our vehicles are authorised and inspected regularly by Queensland Transport. We have both manual and automatic vehicles.
Yes, we can pick up from home, work or school and drop off at a predetermined location at the end of your lesson.
